Investment Objectives, Strategies
and The Trustee sets investment objectives, strategies and asset allocation ranges for each Investment Option and regularly reviews and monitors these to ensure they remain appropriate for AESuper. The objectives, strategies and asset allocation ranges at 30 June 2007 are shown below for each Option. Balanced Growth Investment objective: To provide long term capital growth and some income from diversified investments. Investment strategy: The option is wholly invested in the pool of the TOWER Balanced Fund. The asset allocation provides diversity between asset classes but maintains an emphasis on growth securities such as shares and property.
How your Balanced Growth super assets are allocated
Growth Maximiser Investment objective: To provide long term capital growth from diversified investments. Investment strategy: The option is wholly invested in the pool of the TOWER Growth Maximiser Fund. The asset allocation provides a high weighting to growth assets such as shares and property with a small amount invested in fixed interest and cash securities.
How your Growth Maximiser super assets are allocated
Security Focus Investment objective: To provide income and some capital growth over the medium term from diversified investments. Investment strategy: This option is wholly invested in the pool of the TOWER Security Focus Fund. The asset allocation provides diversity between asset classes but maintains an emphasis on fixed interest and cash securities. A small holding in shares and property provides some capital growth potential.

Focus super assets are allocated
Cash Investment objective: To provide stability of capital and minimal volatility in investment returns over the short term. Investment strategy: This option is wholly invested in the pool of the TOWER Cash Fund. The asset allocation targets cash and short term money market securities of no longer than 12 months maturity.
How your Cash super assets are allocated
From time to time factors such as significant
cash flows and movement in investment markets may cause the Fund
to temporarily move outside the stated asset allocation ranges outlined
above. If this occurs the Trustee will take action to bring
the asset allocation back within the stated ranges. |
