Our history
AESuper has evolved since 1988 when it was established
as the Queensland Retail Traders and Shopkeepers Association Superannuation Fund to provide retailers, café owners,
restaurateurs and caterers with an alternative to those Industry
funds sponsored by Trade Unions.
In 2000, as part of a national expansion plan, AESuper
underwent a name change from the QRTSA Superannuation Fund to Australian
Enterprise Superannuation Fund.
With the introduction of Choice of Fund legislation
in 2005 AESuper was chosen by employers in many diverse industries
Australia-wide to fulfill Superannuation Guarantee Charge obligations
for their employees.
